Inaugurated in 1937, it is an urgent and emergency hospital that serves around 40,000 people a year in medical and surgical clinics, in addition to adult intensive care and the Mais Sorriso program, with dental care for children, young people and adults with disabilities. , such as CP, autism, Down syndrome. It has 197 beds, 30 of which are in the ICU and more than 2,000 professionals. CT, laboratory, ultrasonography, X-rays, pathological anatomy, two-dimensional echocardiogram, MI echodoppler, blood bank, blood transfusions and electrocardiogram.
